ALBERT E. CRAIG, M. D., was born in Mason county, West Virginia, July 7, 1858. His parents were George W. and Sarah F. (Bright) Craig, relatives of the Langtry, Bright, Patterson and Craig families of Callaway county. The Doctor is the eldest of a family of four. Spending his early youth on a farm, he was educated at the Central University of Richmond, Kentucky. In 1879 he entered the office of Dr. C. B. Waggener at Arbuckle, West Virginia, with whom he studied medicine about a year, when he entered the Louisville Medical College, graduating from the institution in 1882. He practiced at his home in West Virginia about a year, when he removed West and opened an office at Auxvasse, June 16, 1883. Although but recently established, he has built up an excellent practice, and is making friends rapidly. He is a member of the Presbyterian church, and yet is unmarried.
